Based on interest here, two forums, and on Google +, I have decided to go ahead with the raffle to win a custom pony from me. If you win, you can choose just about anything for your reward. I will let you know if anything is out of my skill level. Please check out my Deviant Art page for examples of my work. I have materials to do winged ponies, though I don’t have any finished just yet.
*Prize Update* A second prize will be added from Brantwijn. She is a friend of mine who also does custom ponies, and you can check out her work at her Deviant Art.
Using the ChipIn Widget on the right hand side of the page, donate money via paypal to be entered to win. Entries are priced as follows:

Extremely Important: I don’t think you get to fill in any comment box or anything, but just in case, do not fill in the comment box. Do not mention Raffle, or Contest, or Drawing.
Your information will be saved, and on June 9th 2012 (Two months from now) I will draw a winner and contact you via your paypal email. I am making this two months long to give myself time to finish up my current commissions, that way I can focus on whoever wins.

What’s going on? My cat has been sick lately, peeing on the bed, vomiting 5 - 10 times in a 24 hour period since the 6th of April. I have spent almost $400 on her so far in vet bills, and may need to spend more. The vet doesn’t know whats wrong with her. Her blood work came back good. We ruled out everything we could. Right now she’s been put on a prescription diet using kitty food that costs $35 for an 8.5lb bag.
In order to raise money to cover her vet bills, and my own utility bills that I am now struggling to pay, I am holding a raffle to win a customized my little pony, decorated in any way you desire. All money is collected with the ChipIn widget on the right hand side of the page, which in turn takes you through PayPal. ChipIn will log everyone who contributes, and how much they contribute. At the end of the two month entry period, I will draw a winner from the donation pool.

UPDATE 4/30/12 - Charlotte is no longer stuck wearing “The Cone of Safety”. Her rash is gone and her head has healed. She seems to be in good health! The only thing hurting anymore is my wallet as I continue climbing up out of this pit of debt. Thank you to everyone who has entered so far. If we can get donations up to $300 (Currently $155) then there will be a third prize added to the drawing!

Golden harvest is finished. I’ll be mailing her out tomorrow, I think.
This pony was a prize for a contest I held back in Jan/Feb. In order to enter, a contestant had to be a follower of this tumblr, and they had to reblog the original contest page. The first two winners I drew failed to respond when I contacted them, so this gal is actually going to the third person I drew. I will have another contest when this tumblr reaches 300 followers. So if you are out there looking at this tumblr from a bookmark, and you want a chance to win a free commission, just take a moment and make a tumblr account and click follow. I don’t care if you decide not to post anything other than contest entries to your tumblr. :)
Golden Harvest started out life as a Pinkie Pie. She was rehaired with Tangerine Dollyhair and repainted with Golden Blond Master Series Paint. Her entire body was sealed in Mod Podge to prevent scuffing or chipping. She is very sturdy, but is not designed for actual play.

Raffle 1/21/2012 - 3/15/2012 Closes at 2:30 EST
I know this will be a bit wordy, and most people just come here for the pictures, but please take a moment to read this.
I hang out on the My Little Pony Arena forums, and one of the other customizers there is hosting a raffle to win a custom My Little Pony. All proceeds of the raffle will be going towards a very good cause.

Contest Update
Today is February 1, 2012 and you have about 14 days left to make sure you are entered in the contest to win a FREE customized my little pony. Registering is easy. Just go to the contest page (linked at the end of this post) and reblog the contest page. Make sure you are following my tumblr, and send me an Ask or a Submit, telling me or showing me what you would like your pony to look like when it is customized.
Right now We have 16 entries. I promised to do a second winner if we got over 50 entries, and at this rate, it doesn’t look like we are going to hit that. But you never know. I might get surprised. :)

Contest MAJOR Update

Not to worry, dear. You still get your choice of pony if you win, and I will double check with any winner I draw to make sure that I do the right pony out of the available ponies.
You see, I added two g4 ponies to the lot, because so many people told me they hate the G1 ponies. That’s cool. We all like different things. You now have a G4 Earth Pony and Unicorn to pick from as well.
Also, I am going to draw up to a maximum of 5 winners. One winner will be drawn no matter how many entries I get, and they get first pick. Then if I get over 50 entries, I will draw a second winner, and they get second pick. If I get another 50, a third winner who gets third pick, and so on and so forth.

Promotional day!
OK.. SWTOR is down for patching.. I have at least 5 different pony designs I could or should be working on right now. Only 2 of them matter, because commissions come first always!
But for now, I am going to dedicate a block of time to doing some promotion work for this tumblr. If you could take a moment today to suggest this blog to someone, that would really make my day.
I customize ponies because I love doing it. Unfortunately, customizing ponies isn’t something you really make money off of. The hours you put into a custom, and the supplies you buy to make them, just don’t add up to profit. Money is tight for me since I am trying very hard to get out of debt this year. The only way I can afford to partake in my hobby is by selling commissions to people. Every dime I make gets spent on more supplies needed to create even better ponies. So of course, having more viewers means more chances of getting orders, and that means you guys get new commissions to watch being made, as well as stuff I make for fun.

You can win one of the above ponies customized for free. For every 50 entries I get, I will draw an additional winner, up to a maximum of 5. First place gets first choice, second place second choice, and so on.
How do you become eligible?
1. Follow this blog: CustomPony.tumblr.com
2. Share (Reblog) this post.
3. Using the “Ask Me A Question!” link on the right, Submit a description or drawing of a customization of one of the pictured ponies. Your design can not contain anything requiring sculpted parts.
Please note that the pony on the left has stars inside her plastic body. Any paint job will hide them if you like them.
I will compile a list of the eligible entries and I will choose the winner with a random number generator. I will contact you on your tumblr via the “ask me” option, so make sure you have it enabled. If you do not reply within one week, I will contact another random winner.
Entries for this contest will be accepted between 1/15/2012 and 2/15/2012. The winner will be notified on 2/16/2012 and asked for shipping information. The pony will be made and shipped no later than 3/01/2012. This shipping date may change if the winner fails to respond in a timely manner. or if I wind up having more than one winner.
