I got received this guy in the mail a couple days ago, and he is so much more handsome in real life than he is in these photos! Puuush is one of the customizers that I adore :)

More progress to share on the dragon. The wings are coming along. I had to do part of the tail to balance it out, but the tail is not done, nor are the wings in this shot.

Sometimes I wince at sharing progress pictures with all of you, because in the early stages something can look so rough and horrible. I can only hope that when its finished it looks as spectacular in reality as it does in my head.

The good thing about showing you these pictures is that you get to see the difference between the finished product and the beginning stages like this.

WHAT’S THAT? I CAN’T HEAR YOU!! YOU’LL HAVE TO SPEAK UP! SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY EARS! Lol. I used a fan to hide the mess on my desk. I’m just waiting to hear back about how this guys wing placement should go and then I’ll be laying the clay on him.

Went to start sculpting on this guy and realized I didn’t know where to start. It’s going to be a dragon. Complicated!

I think I have it broke down. I need to build the wire supports first for his horns, spikes and wings. Then I think I can lay clay on the body, then add wings and horns and such.

For those of you who don’t know, I hurt my back last week at work. I’m probably going to see a doctor tomorrow. What this means is that my already slow work on customs will be even slower. Sitting down hurts. So I can’t sit still and work on these for very long before I have to get up and walk around or go lay down.

At least I finished one pony and Fry doesn’t seem like he will take a whole lot of work to finish.

Starting work on the raffle prize finally along with a commission. The purple one will be a dragon and the pink one will be Fry from Futurama. Fry will be my first pony with sculpted hair. I wasn’t sure how to manage the tail since this I my first time so I gave it a nub of aluminum to base it on.

For the guy at Game Goblins, in Little Rock. :) these are the current projects I am working on.

From left to right, front to back: Masquerade pony for a swap, fashion style pony for a swap, Grace for a swap, Queen Chrysalis as a personal project, contest winner from the raffle, Cookie who goes along with Grace, Practice winged pony as a personal project, Faye and I forget the other ones name, both for a swap.

……. Huh. I’m not getting paid for any of this, unless I manage to finish and sell one of my personal projects. I only work on them when I’m unable to work on the others.

I won’t be taking any new commissions till all or most of my swap ponies are done. If you want a pony, I can always add you to the waiting list.
